Funding Sources

There are many different funding sources available for families in B.C. to access pediatric therapy services. Please contact the agencies listed below for more info or to determine your eligibility.

Variety Children’s Charity Grant

Eligibility: Household income must be less than $85,000/year.

CKNW Kid’s Fund

Eligibility: Must be under 19 years, determined by gross family income.

Jordan’s Principal

Eligibility: Must be under 19 years, permanent Canadian resident, registered OR eligible to register under the Indian Act.

MNBC Wellbeing Program

Eligibility: Must be under 8 years and enrolled in the Métis Family Connections Program.

At Home Program

Eligibility: Must be assessed as dependent in at least three of four functional activities of daily living (eating, dressing, toileting and washing).

Autism Funding

Eligibility: Must have an Autism diagnosis and be under 18 years old, amount of funding varies depending on age.

Cops for Kids

Eligibility: Must be under 19 years, suffer from medical/emotional/developmental/behavioural problems, in need of funding for expenses related to these problems, and reside in the southeast BC district (see map on website for specifics).

Private Insurance

If you have an Extended Health plan through your employer, often they cover therapies like Physio and Speech therapy. Ex: Sun Life, Pacific Blue Cross, Manulife.
